ARTIST BIO
ONE-LINER
MUTIL8 is an Amsterdam-based project executing audio autopsies — tearing apart the scaffolding of Phonk, Trap, and Glitch to examine the visceral space where human consciousness collides with cold digital architecture. An uncompromising, high-concept cyberpunk art form.
EXTENDED
The evolution from MODUL8 to MUTIL8 marks a definitive shift from passive sonic manipulation to absolute structural deconstruction. MUTIL8 does not merely sequence beats — she initiates a total system breach to dismantle the boundary between biological life and machine logic.
The process begins with signal excavation: collecting fragments pulled from failed experiments, corrupted renders, and heavily mutated generations that were never supposed to survive. Those fragments become contaminated cores, repeatedly reprocessed through cycles of controlled overload until they evolve into something structurally alive.
The result is not designed to sound clean, nostalgic, or commercially optimized. It's designed to feel like corrupted infrastructure attempting to express human emotion through damaged machinery. MUTIL8 is not built through traditional production. She's extracted from interference.
KEY FACTS
SONIC PROFILE
At the center of the MUTIL8 identity is an unyielding, hyper-technical flow. The production relies on complex, glitched rhythmic patterns and sterile, industrial soundscapes that feel less like standard studio mixing and more like surgical dissection. A sonic landscape built for a dystopian ecosystem — heavy, demanding, and flawlessly executed.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
COMPARABLE ARTISTS
For playlist curators and music supervisors seeking reference points: the production weight of Kordhell and Phonk House, the technical density of Noisia, the glitch aesthetic of Amon Tobin, and the lyrical intensity of Tech N9ne — fused into a single cyberpunk frequency.
